Good enough for us

Anonymous from Chapel Hill, NC

This condo will take you back to the 90's because that's the last time it was redecorated. But it is priced accordingly, so I'm not complaining. The location is an easy walk to the slopes and there was plenty of space for our four adults and 3 kids. The parking lot was full the night we arrived, but it was no problem because we were able to park at Top of the World (about a minute walk from the condo).

Good visit

I sent this email the day we left: Did not receive a response.

We left Snowshoe this morning, and I wanted to let you know a few things about the condo, Keystone B.
When we arrived, the dryer had damp towels in it, and the washer had items in it, too. We could not get the dryer to stay on longer than 30 seconds, so we hung the towels to dry. I folded them and put them on the top of the washer. We did not use the washer. We never were able to use the dryer.

Also, the plumbing had some issues, the toilet and the bathtub gurgled often. The toilet leaked out of the bottom of it at one point onto the bathroom floor (downstairs) . We were able to clean up with one towel.

We could not find instructions on what to do with the linens when we left, so we stripped the beds and put sheets/towels/dish towels in front of the washer/dryer.

Everything else was good.

Thank you,
Brooke Nelson

The place is very well located near the Soaring Eagle lift and having a washer dryer was nice. However, the beds were very uncomfortable, the furniture very dated, halogen lights hummed very loudly, one of the bathroom doors wouldn’t stay closed, and the lounge very small for a 3 bd unit.

Very accommodating. Loved location. Very comfortable. Plenty of room. Temp a little difficult to navigate (updates very warm, downstairs very cold). No kitchen linen and missing a few pillow cases. Clothes washer not working. Sink sprayer broke first time we tried to use it. Minor things. We'd absolutely stay here again! Rental agency top notch. : ]

Thank you for your review! We have replaced the sink sprayer & checked out the washer with the help of your review!

Under Equipped

Decent place, but very much lacked basic kitchen utensils. Only several bowels, a couple of small pots, 1 pan, not enough dishes, cups, glasses, etc. No laundry detergent or dishwasher detergent. Had to go to store to get some. Kitchen is tiny - barely enough room for 2 people to work together. Living room is also very small, dark, and crowded with furniture in an attempt to give ample seating for 7. Not a good place if you are planning to spend much time indoors. Fortunately we had great skiing conditions and were not at the condo much. Tried calling management company 100 times to inform them of damage we noticed when we arrived as they requested. But, they never answered the phone and we could not leave a message. Very frustrating! Location is great - only about 100 yards to slope. Wifi worked well also!

The unit was very clean on our arrival. Plenty of space for our family of 5. The manager was very responsive for any of our request. There was one mechanical issue with the kitchen and the manager responded immediately with friendly and capable help.We would certainly return to that unit again. Had a wonderful stay. Being dog friendly was a huge plus since our entire family could come! Few more table lamps in the queen bedroom would be only request.

Loved It

we loved this cabin. Spacey, super close to the slopes, and cozy. We were 8 and everyone had his/her own space 🙂
The only thing is if you plan to do a lot of cooking and using the kitchen, you might notice its a little small.

Great weekend at Snowshoe

We had a great time when we were in our condo. We ate all of our meals there and were easily able to find what we needed to cook. It was a very large condo with a nice area to leave skis on the enclosed porch.

Thank you for your review-we are happy you enjoyed your stay!

The whole trip from beginning to end was fantastic. The girls in office were extremely helpful before we got to snowshoe, answering all of my questions. Once we checked in and got to the property it was actually better than what the pictures make it appears to be. The house is huge and has easy access to the mountain. A 2 minute walk has you on the mountain ready to strap in. There was 8 of us staying in the house and there was more than enough room. I will definitely be using this location again next time we bring a large group to Snowshoe. Thank you ladies!

With the exception of the unit not being clean and the dated kitchen we had a great time.

Late February Snowshoe Trip

Anonymous from Grovetown, GA
Stayed 4 days ending March 2015

The house is sufficient for 2 families looking to ski. At the time we booked it was the cheapest option we could find. If you are looking to lounge inside, this is not your place. Negatives were parking spots, large qty of per hair on floor, and having to shovel feet of snow out of the way from a storm a few days prior. But the place was cheaper than most and met our needs.

Excellent!
