Outdated condo, good location

This condo looks like it hasn’t been touched since 1970. The floors were dirty, the furniture is old and worn, the kitchen and appliances were not great. Dishes I pulled from the cabinets were dirty. It was nice to have two bathrooms and showers, but upstairs had no water pressure. Everything needs a deep clean. Check in process was not clear and no one answered the phones when we had questions/trouble getting in. The main positive here was the location to the slopes. We could ski out and didn’t have to take the shuttles. For the price, it was fine, but there is definitely room for improvement.

Clean, Comfortable and Perfectly Located

Wabasso 21 is the perfect spot for a Snow Shoe get-away. The house was clean and comfortable with everything needed for our three day stay. It is very dated though and the furnishings quite worn but that did not impact our stay. The management company was professional and extremely helpful though they did not seem to use the messaging feature in VRBO. This was not a big deal, just something to be aware of - calling them directly is best. The location is perfect as its an easy walk to the main village and ski runs are right out the back door but far enough off the square that you dont contend with the crowds.

We took a chance on an early trip to Snowshoe mountain. Having stayed at the mountain lodge on a previous trip we decided to try something with more character. Still close enough to get the day of skiing going without any issues. It felt safe and cozy. It was a magical trip for us so I can't say enough.

I've been renting on Snowshoe Mountain for years now, and this unit was larger than most two-bedrooms. If you rent from the resort, they would call this a two-star property: the decor and furnishings are old and worn. In fact, they really should replace that carpet.
But we liked the location (right near Upper Flume), easy walk to the Village, and loved the wood-burning fireplace.
As for cleaning: only 4 of the beds were made, and the dishwasher was full when we arrived. I hate paying a cleaning fee, but then having to clean up when I get there.
Great location!

The property was in a great location. We came for the gncc race & it overlooked a piece of the track which was awesome. We were a little disappointed that we had to travel to the other side of the mountain (passing the first entrance) with a truck & trailer just to obtain an envelope with a key code for the door. This should have been communicated through the app that you're required to download. The property could use a face lift. Everything seemed to be dated and well used however, it was a nice place to stay and we would definitely stay again. We GREATLY appreciate the late check out as we had a family of racers that didn't start racing until 11am when checkout was at 10am. Thank you & see you next year!

The townhome was comfortable and clean. The Rental agency was very thorough and good customer service. I slept in the twin room downstairs and the bed wasn’t very comfortable at least for me as an adult. Probably fine for children. You need to bring your own kitchen sponges, and paper towels but lines are provided. I can’t say I was really impressed with the stay but overall it was fine and suited our needs for a couple of days in the springtime.

The location turned out to be great. A short walk (less than a block) to a green slope. I loved the couch as it was the kind you could put lots on people in and "flop". We could pull up 2 more chairs and have 6 people at the dinner table. The upstairs room was very spacious.

I rented wabasso 21 at snowshoe mountain ski resort and my experience was outstanding! The location of wabasso 21 was great, just a short walking distance directly to a slope! Wabasso 21 was super cozy! Plenty of firewood extra blankets, everything you might need for those cold snowshoe nights! I would recommend wabasso 21 and mountain valley realty to anyone!
Great spot for a guys weekend

Myself and four buddies had an absolutely great time here for three nights. The location is awesome, just a short walk over to a green run that can either take you to the bottom of the Ballhooter or Soaring Eagle lifts. At the end of the day you can grab drinks at the Hoots and ski right back down to the townhouse.
The townhouse itself was perfect for us. It does have WiFi, which was awesome. I brought my PS4 and we watched netflix with no problem. Is this place a 5 star hilton hotel? Absolutely not, but the location is great and it's way cheaper than a lot of places located like this.
As others have pointed out, the bunk beds are horrible and the couch ain't much better. For us adult men, sleeping in those bunks was brutal. But, totally worth it and we wouldn't trade the weekend for anything.
Check in and check out were smooth and easy. No regrets - I'd book the same place again tomorrow if I were planning another trip.

Really enjoyed the condo and 70s ambiance. However, really need to replace the hand mixer as the one on the wall is completely broken. Condo had everything else we needed. Could use more dusting though. Thank you!

This is one of the nicer condos I've rented at Snowshoe. The lofted ceiling really opens up the place and gave our group lots of room to stretch out. And having Wi-Fi with the smart TV was a huge plus.
Cozy, clean and well-located

We spent a less than snowy long weekend here in December. It was clean and all the fixtures were in good working order. We had selected the condo for the double bunk room, to accommodate three kids. Unfortunately the upper bunks had no guard rails, and one of our children fell out of bed in his sleep. So perhaps the upper bunks would be more appropriate for adults or teenagers? Otherwise, we were happy with location, layout and general comfort of the place.

We are happy to hear you enjoyed your stay, considering our early unseasonable warm conditions. We have also listened to your feed back and have ordered portable bed rails for both bunks. We hope you come back to see us & the snow!

My group of friends really liked the unit. It was a short walk to the trail and to the closest bus stop. I really liked being a little away from the village, less people wandering around.

We enjoyed the location, unit and its amenities. There was an issue with the second tv in master bedroom not working. We would stay here again but expect to have 2 working tvs. If the weather was colder we would of liked to try the wood burning fireplace.

Wabasso 21 Condo for ski weekend

Typical 1980s ski condo with wood paneling and ski decor. Somewhat dated design but clean and comfortable for a ski weekend. Condo layout and slooe access is good and your located between the Main Village and Sawmill Village. A 5 min walk to either or a very short drive. Bus service comes by every 15 min til 2 am. Parking under deck and overall good experience if you aren't looking for a modern condo with ski on/off access.
