My stay at Shamrock 35

Had a hard time finding my Condo in the snow until I saw there was a vertical line between the numbers. So the room # was not 315 but 35.
It was snowing hard that night. The condo was excellent for a building that old. Had a great stay.

This place is in a great location and was very clean and tidy. We loved the view from the back porch and it is a very short walk to get to the slopes.
2nd year at Shamrock 35

We returned to this unit after last year -- it is accessible to slopes, comfortably equipped and has plenty of kitchen gear -- we cook! The layout here gives plenty of extra space for three people.
We also enjoyed having our small dog with us -- so few units at Snowshoe are available as pet-friendly.
Only complaint with unit was internet access. They are installing fiber optics (yeah!) so it didn't seem that Snowshoe internet service organization was very worried about resolving old DSL issue -- not a MVR issue at all!
Not the best weather for skiing -- missed snow by 1 day!!!!

My family of 4 enjoyed a 4 night stay. It was our first stay at Shamrock after previous stays at Powderridge, Rimfire and Whistle Punk. The first impression was just how much space you are treated to at Shamrock. The adults have their own room and full bath upstairs on the loft and the kids gave their own TV and pull out sofa downstairs. Everywhere you look there are hooks and shelves to hang your gear. The kitchen is impressively stocked with anything you would need to handle most of your cooking needs. The only appliance we brought was a waffle maker. I could also see bringing a crock pot. To keep cooking to a minimum we also brought leftover chili, pulled pork, Korean beef and cooked bacon.
Shamrock is whisper quiet--huge!!
Shamrock is a two minute downhill walk to the slope serviced by the Powderridge lift. The downhill walk is steep so we always opted for the shuttle at Powder Monkey to take us home.
Shamrock has its own shuttle stop which we used often to escape the crowds of Snowshoe for the less crowded Silver Creek.
Mountain Valley Realty has always been so very helpful and accommodating and I heartily recommend relying on Debbie to help plan your Snowshoe vacation.

We had a very nice stay at Shamrock 35. While an older complex, this Shamrock unit was clean and well cared for. Kitchen was well equiped. There was a flat screen TV and wood burning fireplace in the living room. Short path to slopes. Unit was very quiet. Only complaint would be the bed was quite firm.

Thank you for your review and sharing your experience. Shamrock is pretty easy access to basin, western territory and Central Village. Thanks again, Debbie
