Full Strawberry Moon Hike

Hike by the light of a full moon at Cass
The “Strawberry Moon” hike at Cass Scenic Railroad begins from the visitors center (to the left of the Company Store facing the store) at 7:30 p.m. The evening walk is about three miles round trip with a slight grade, but mostly flat walking. Please wear sturdy footwear and clothing. Hike will be led by Park Superintendent Marshall Markley. The hike is open to the public and fee free.
June’s full moon name is known as the Strawberry Moon according to The Old Farmer’s Almanac Traditionally called the Pink Moon, but is also called Mead Moon and Honey Moon.
