The Farmer's Market will be kicking off in Marlinton May 11th. Linwood/Snowshoe May 17th and Greenbank/NRAO will follow on May 29th. The crew at the golf course has been working very hard to get the course in top condition. Opening date is scheduled for May 13th! Snowshoe also has a new bike park for the 2013 summer season, along with great pass deals! Go check it out! The Greenbrier River Trail offers many events for everyone. From The American Lung Association 3 day, 100 mile bike adventure to relaxing stage coach rides along the beautiful scenic trail. Grab a kayak, canoe or even float The Greenbrier River. Pocahontas County truly is Nature's Mountain Playground. Try something new, visit the NRAO located in Greenbank. They offer their unique view all through out the summer with star labs. Or choose to come participate in one of their other even such as the 2nd annual Space Race Rumpus. Take a ride on the Cass train located only 6 miles from the base of Snowshoe. Participate in one of the MANY events snowshoe has planned for the summer! Take in some local knowledge at the Mountain State Trout Festival.
